TANGO MUSIC

A local performance with some tango music will take place on February 2 at  20:00 - 23:00 in the Harty Room, Music Building, QUEEN'S UNIVERSITY, BELFAST

A guitar recital of solo and duet repertoire featuring Brian Keenan, Greg Caffrey, Neil Morgan, Daragh Gillen, Declan Keenan, and Michael McGuffin (piano).

Astor Piazzolla – Tango No.2 (from the Tango Suite for two guitars)

Jaime Zenamon – Casablanca (for two guitars)

Fernando Sor – Introduction and Variations on a Theme by Mozart, Op.9

Manuel de Falla - Homenaje: Le Tombeau de Claude Debussy

Leo Brouwer – Micro Piezas (for two guitars)

Joaquin Rodrigo – Adagio from Concierto de Aranjuez (with piano accompaniment)

Tickets £8/£5, available at the door, in aid of the production of Handel’s Alcina.
